Vigilant Active Presence is a tool that allows you to

  • Download information remotely from the Vigilant 2005 BT readers to your system.
  • Control the start up of your services.
  • It warns us of “time limit when the Services haven’t been done, warning us via SMS or email.

Very easy to use. No need of physical presence and works 24 hours a day giving us high levels of productivity.

The cost of the operations is nil, only increasing with the possible incidences due to the fact that the communication of them is done via SMS or email. In the end it’s very low cost.

It’s a unmanned service, it doesn’t need any involvement of staff to work!!!

It works as follows:

In the Vigilant Presence and Service control, for each service that you wish to control, you define a weekly planning of the different services that you are going to do, indicating their starting times. To each service you assign 1 or various phone numbers (to be used by the worker to call the system) and 1 or various numbers / email addresses that the system will send notifications when a service doesn’t start)

The result is a list of phones linked with the service, therefore the system always knows the position of each worker.

In each service you will define the numbers that will be used as contacts.

The contacts are made by a simple phone call to one of the control centre numbers. These contacts can be made through any phone (fixed, mobile, fax, modem.)

As an option we can define the “alert” phones where the system will tell us that the service hasn’t started on time.

When a contact is made the system identifies the phone that is making the call and stops the call, no communication is made therefore there is no expense.

Only if the system has to make a “no start service” it will do this via a SMS or email. If everything is ok and the workers respect contracted times then no expense will be made.
