I have just purchased a Vigilant SOS system. What do I do to get it started?

All that you need is a SIM card from any operator.

Insert the SIM card in the device as shown in the manual (there is only one possible way). At the side of the device you will find a small on / off switch. Switch it on and you will see that the 3 lights on the device will light up. Red (on light). Yellow (GSM/GPRS light) and blue GPS light)

Once the device is on and has recognised the SIM card, the RED light will flash and the yellow light will flash every 3 to 4 seconds telling us that we have signal and GSM is activated.

The blue light will only show when GPS mode is activated.
