Security CS system installation guide

The database system used by Vigilant Security CS is Firebird, a high-capacity RDBMS client-server architecture, with full support SQL-92 standard.

We must differentiate between the server computer, which is the only one accessing the database, and client computers that run the programs requesting the necessary data to the server. The server computer can be a client too and run the programs. You can even make a standalone installation (all in single computer).
