When I finish capturing a reader, its stored data is erased so the reader is emptied, but ... Can I keep that data for printing and for future reference?

Yes, there is no problem. Don't mind about that.

When a reader's data is captured, all its records are stored in the database and are automatically available to the system. Those records can be queried, printed, ... whenever you want.
